Are you a Bad Neighbor?

Practically everyone that has moved or has had neighbors move can relate to the experience of having a bad neighbor, or even worse –“a neighbor from hell”.

If you haven’t had such experience yet, is it because, maybe – perhaps, you have been the bad neighbor?

Here is a list of what makes a bad neighbor. If you recognize these signs in your own household, for goodness’ sake try to change. If you recognize them in your neighbor/s, we will cover in a future article how to deal with them.

Great Unpacking Tips from Zillow Blog

The idea is to unpack personal effects (kitchen, bathroom, linen, etc.) after coming up with a plan, not just to get it over with though tempting it may be to finish quickly and finally rest from the moving ordeal.

But, taking the time to develop an unpacking plan pays off at then end because the reward is more storage space, make space more accommodating and even productive and enjoyable.

I do want to point out that some moving companies do offer the option to fully unpack all boxes, leaving all items on counter tops for you to put away later. Of course, this full unpack option takes care of the debris (the movers take the cartons and packing materials), but it may leave you with lots of items laying around.
